Boosts are for a month at a time and can be cancelled at any time. So (e.g.) take this Sky Sports offer and cancel at any time before the end of the 3 month  offer period.

Use the live chat option, it works in a web browser and is 24/7 support. the bill payer will need to provide some information for security purposes, but any issue can be resolved straight away
