Since my mom has had her YouView box on TalkTalk, she has never been able to access the included channels Sky1 etc.
Whenever you try to select them from the guide, you get the error TTG-239 and a message which says you cant have more than one YouView box.
She only has one YouView box of course, but it in the various efforts to fix it over 12 months or more, the first Bright Spark engineer replaced the YouView box to try and fix the Sky channels. So now the TalkTalk servers think its a second YouView box? Can this box be reset as the main box please?
My Mom has just renewed her contract and also upgraded to FTTC broadband so bandwidth is not an issue. But the new service still gives the error TTG-239.
I have read other customers having similar issues, and that you reset this for them to fix the issue.
Can you help me to resolve this please? I have spent hours on TalkTalk support call centres, and the last Bright Spark engineer just said "Sorry, its a TalkTalk issue" and left my Mom with it still not working.
