My YV box will be hopefully used to connect on my large monitor as we already have a Sky box now with a freeview card as well so there isn't any need to replicate what the daughters watch so decided to put the YV box in my bedroom with my PC where the router resides too.
My monitor has a DVI and a HDMI socket but my PC's vid card can only run properly on HDMI so wondering if I can use a dedicated quality HDMI to DVI cable as I don't want to end up in constantly swapping HDMI's nor is it feasible for my very expensive video card to be run on DVI which will be like buying a Aston Martin and only every driving it in first gear.
Another question is sound, my monitor has speakers built in and has a green line in socket for sound, will this be OK as well?
