My on demand service keeps buffering even after setting up following the instructions

After checking all of the set up instructions we have given up using the you view box (however we are still paying for the service!)

Any advice re set up, we paid for the upgrade to our service to have fibre broadband which works really well using laptops/wireless for the internet but the TV is useless.
