I am a confused oap. I phoned to report an error on my bill and was talked into having a tv package. I explained I had Freeview and Freesat built into my Samsung smart tv, i also have all the on demand features in my Smart Hub including Catchup and internet. I was told it would be fine and it would cost me only £20 a month in total instead of the £22.50 I was paying before.
It is now connected and I am now unable to get my Freesat channels. I have spent several hours trying to pair the power adaptors (my router is upstairs) without success even trying in the same double socket as suggested on here. I am now unable to use my internet features. They are sending an engineer in 3 weeks time but I am wondering if they will be able to restore my Freesat Channels and if not it wont be worth having. Should I just pack it all up and put it away because if I return it i will be charged more monthly???
