I was helping my Mother who doesn't use her YouView box much. She saw a programme on the EPG and I clicked it. I was prompted to "set up" the channel (Alibi) so I clicked on it to see if it took me to some kind of payment screen, or if it was free.
The channel is now available but I didn't agree to pay for it and my Mum doesn't want it if she has to pay. In "My Account > My Services> Manage Boosts> Your Boosts" there is nothing to cancel, but Alibi is listed in the channels list of the Entertainment package.
What's going on? This seems like some sort of con... a trap to trick people into subscribing to stuff they don't want/need.
