Disappointed in the 30th June 2016 TV Boost Changes.

Hi,

I have to start off by saying that I am extremely disappointed in TalkTalks desition to discontinue: Discovery Channel, Discovery Home & Health, Animal Planet, TLC, Sony TV Asia, Star Plus and Stingray Music thus replacing these channels with yet more Movie Channels in the form of 'TalkTalk Film Club'.

I am disappointed because in particular there are not a great deal of factual channels as it is on the YouView box yet we have Movie channels a plenty: Sky Movies, Picture Box + The Sky On Demand channels amongst others and now we have this 'TalkTalk Film Club' which having 20 movies with 5 changing each week is not really that great.

Why not keep the channels that are currently on the youview Entertainment Extra Boost and have 'TalkTalk Film Club' as an optional Free boost for those viewers that want it.

I watch Discovery, Animal Planet and Discovery Home & Health and my Wife often watches TLC. Granted my view will not be the same as others but that doesnt leave us with a lot of factual channels to choose from.

I would like to know what TalkTalk are going to offer those viewers that have subscribed to the Entertainment Extra boost but do not want the TalkTalk Film Club?. In a very competitive market it is all about choice for the subscriber, which means we can unsubscribe to the Entertainment Extra Boost but that means we lose even more channels.

I am getting really disappointed in TalkTalk choosing for the customer rather than the customer getting the freedom of choice. Add new boosts and channels but don't get rid of the existing ones. We need a ratio balance.

I am not particularly expecting a sensible response or even a response to change anything but I am just putting this post out there to express my displeasure...

Best Wishes

Vince
