It's clear the channels are leaving the service altogether as they would not be trying to add movies to compensate if they where going to be entertainment extra only channels when they sent the email they would be recommending a upgrade from entertainment to entertainment extra so yes it's quite clear the contract with discovery had not been renewed. Also what I can tell you from when home left the talktalk service and went onto free view when a channel leaves the service you get a few weeks to watch the recordings then they are removed from the box. You will have no control when there removed that's down to talktalk.
