Re: How many engineers does it take to fix my fibre broadband?

Hi Karl.  I had a phone call last night from a Fault team manager.  He is ringing me later today with another update. Apparently I may be one of the very few people who will not be able to have fibre and extra channels.

I am told that I may have to either revert back to copper cable and receive the TVPlus package I had before switching to fibre, or keep the fibre but not have any of the TV packages.  I am puzzled by this as I have up until now been able to receive all the on demand channels that are available in the package I subscribed to, (entertainment extra)  just not any of the live programmes.

Since 7th April, I have had varying issues that have developed and been rectified but the one constant , is that I was able to receive the on demand programmes.  On attempting to watch something just now I discovered that even this is now not available.  Instead I get code TTG-238, telling me that I am using an additonal YouView box and so am subject to licensing restrictions.  This code appeared last week and the call centre person I spoke to said the replacement box they sent me hadn't been registered properly and was being regarded as the additonal box with the old one  being regarded as the main box.  They told me they had cancelled both registrations and re-registered the new one.  Maybe this new developement is causing a problem with my actual account, rather than it being a network issue.
