Re: How many engineers does it take to fix my fibre broadband?

Hi Karl, still no joy?  Just for something to do till I hear anything from you, I have tried using a long extension from the Mastersocket to hook the router directly to the TV and Youview box in my sitting room.  I know that extensions are not recommended but it's the only thing I haven't tried. I established there is a broadband connection from my laptop and then ran a speed test.  Still same result from TV giving  !PC 6023 saying to check the broadband connection, cables etc.

Just for your information, before the switch to fibre on 7th April, I was using a long cable to hook up the old router to the master socket and the router and powerline adapters were plugged into a four socket electrical extension.  Even with this dodgy setup I was still able to get a fairly reliable broadband connection, if a little slow.  In preparation to the switch over, I had new wall sockets fitted, to make sure I had the best setup possible.

I have now eliminated any possible fault with my house wiring and any possible fault with the powerline adapters.
