YouView box freezing and slow start up

I have a few issues with my box at the moment:

 

There is currently 49% free space on the box.  I was watching a freeview recording and it suddenly stopped, said I had reached the end of the recording (there was 50 minutes remaining) and went back to the list of recordings, which now showed a full disk and no free space.  I thought it odd and I was not able to delete or play any recordings. I could not even get out of the recordings list to do anything else and  had to reboot the box, then all was back to normal, showing 49% full and I replayed the recording I had been watching.

 

Recently, when restarting paused tv, the picture stays frozen and the dialogue carries on and I have to fast forward a bit in order for the picture to start again. 

 

The box is always on standby and smart mode.  I turned it on this morning via the remote control, it was showing nearly ready for 15 minutes, so i rebooted the box and it took 3 minutes.  The same happened yesterday.

 

The box has become slower to respond to the remote control than it used to be.

 

I think the software is up to date: 70.38.84 

 

As these issues have all started in the last week or so I wonder if there is just something wrong with the box.  Any suggestions?
