Why is my wi fi saying out of reach on my smart Tv yet it is saying I have good connection

I am using my fire stick for movies but can't get wi fi as it is saying out of reach ,yet my network on my iPad is fine .it is saying signal strength disconnected check network ,which is fine ,can anyone help please
