"Don't worry, we've tailored the offers that you'll be able to choose to suit your current package with us, so all of the offers that you can see are available to you".
That simply is not correct I was offered the choice of THREE. One no use to me because I don't have a mobile phone.(nor do I want one).
The second was the chance to have a technician visit me and check my broadband set uo - which has caused me no problems (with the threat of a £30 penalty if I wasn't in- or if he didn't knock the door loudly enough when he called) THAT'S ABSURD!.
The third was the offer of free calls for one year (which I already paid £7.50 a month for). But was at first told I couldn't have because I already paid for it. SO WHY OFFER IT TO ME!
How any of those suited my current package (offering me something I couldn't have - defies logic) and takes some working out.
My own logic said the only thing to do was cancel the thing I already had (the anytime calls) then ask as I no longer had it (by paying) Could I now have it as my choice for nothing. Or ask where my FREE upgrade (I'd been promised in November) was..
I cancelled my paid for anytime calls yesterday and was phoned a few hours ago to be told I was getting it back FREE for the next twelve months. I probably won't be using it for twelve months though as during the intervening period I did some checking and found I could get a superior package elsewhere (including the anytime calls) for much less.
